Group Co-ordination Committee
The Committee advises Council on the structure and operation of Divisions and Groups, including their creation, merging and closure. The Committee ensures that the portfolio of groups reflects accurately current and emerging physics activities. It also monitors the activities of groups including the use of funds. The Committee advises Council on matters pertaining to groups and divisions and on mechanisms to deal with policy decisions. It has the responsibility for electing the Group and Division representatives on Council.
