The Fifth National Meeting on Quantum, Atomic, Molecular and Plasma Physics (QuAMP)
University of Nottingham

The programme will consist of tutorial/summer school style activities suitable for both current and future research students. Research students starting their PhDs in Sept 2008 are encouraged to attend as are current PhD students. Contributions will be made by the following groups of the IOP Division of Atomic Molecular Optical and Plasma Physics (DAMOPP):

Atomic and Molecular Interactions Group (AMIG)
The Molecular Physics Group (MPG)
The Quantum Electronic and Photonics Group (QEP)
The Quantum information, Quantum Optics and Quantum Control Group (QQQ)

The registration/accommodation costs for up to 60 EPSRC funded postgraduate will be fully covered but no travel costs can be met and all funding will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Other students should contact the organisers (quamp2008@nottingham.ac.uk) for details of how their costs may be met. For example several organisations run schemes that students may be able to apply to.
