How to Join Nexus

By joining the Institute of Physics as a student member or an associate member undertaking full-time study, you will receive automatic membership of Nexus.

Student Membership

If you are an undergraduate student you are entitled to apply for student membership. As a student member of the Institute of Physics you will also be a member of Nexus. You can download an application form or apply online. The current membership fees for students are as follows:

Annual membership: £14

Associate Membership

If you are a university graduate you are entitled to apply for associate membership. As an associate member in full-time education (e.g. PhD) you will also be a member of Nexus. The current membership fees for associate members in full-time education are as follows:

If you are a PhD (or equivalent level) student and funded by EPSRC you may be entitled to free associate membership of the Institute for up to five years! Click here for more information about the scheme
