The Science Policy Advisory Group (SPAG) was set up to provide a steer for the Department's policy objectives, to ensure that the Institute continues to respond on matters of physics policy in a consistent manner, and that it represents views that will generally command the support of its membership.
SPAG is divided into three sub-groups: research, higher education, and energy. The sub-groups are contacted whenever advice/input is needed on a government consultation, or to provide comment on policy/profile related activities.
